4000 Gallon tank project

The garage is heated in winter and very well insulated. Acrylic is 2.5" thick or I think 7 cm or so. The stand was welded from steel square tube steel and powder coated with black paint.

Interessing, I'm curious to see how the coral pieces will look in the filled tank

Will real life rock also be added, for bacterial filtering?

We will add bacteria to start the filtration this week tank is all complete and running as we speak. Fish will arrive later this week.

Mike I think the plexiglass filtration is fantastic, I can't wait ta see it all running. I wonder how long it will stay clear with the salt water.

It should stay clear for most part as there is no real light in the filtration area and should not grow to much. If need be we will clean it from time to time. Tank is fully up and running with salt water. We will add fish this coming week and I will update with new pictures then.

Is this going to be a marine tank?

This will be marine tank to start with, customer likes to go back and forth from marine to freshwater so only time will tell. Cost of project like this is around 120,000 US and that's a good price.

Corals installed, tank will take 1-2 days to complete filling, ENJOY:

Tank is fully operational, we added some fish this week. In few weeks after the tank is cycled we will add some sharks and few other nice fish.
