Re: Back in business
Here is some more detailed info on the horror story. Bobbie was busy finalizing the background of the tank. To make a long story short: during this process highly flammable gasses started to built up in the bottom of the tank (Bobbie didn't notice that). As soon as bobbie wanted to use fire to further shape the background, the entire background caught fire and as a consequence of the gasses there was a small explosion. Since bobbie was in the tank when this all happened, he suffered 1st and 2nd degree burn wounds on his face and 2nd and 3rd degree burn wounds to his arms. He was taken to the hospital where they treated him for more than a week (he got home again a few days ago). The tank and house were ruined by the big fire and they cannot get back into the house until february. Luckily it seems that bobbie will not have any permanent scars in his face and currently only gets additional treatment to his arms.
The firemen who came said that the main reason for the explosion was the high level of extreme flammable gasses that built up in the tank. So for everybody who is making his own background. Be sure that the tank is thoroughly ventilated, since this is a clear example of how easily things can go entirely wrong!
