In the right way, i mean seriously keeping rays, i'm afraid we're only two...... maybe there is more but they only keep retics for a few weeks and then the rays die. Maybe some more keeping motoro, but then again, they dont have tanks big enough and the only keep the rays for a few months before getting tired of the fish and the waterchange schedule.
There is a serious problem getting people educated in the aquarium hobby, cause there are 10.000 pet shop licenses in the whole country and here you dont need any education to work in a pet shop. Try to imagine how many shops work in the wrong way and give wrong info to new hobbists. I've heard that you can feed retics with Vipan flakes!!. Thats why we're going to try to educate people in keeping stingrays giving first hand info.
I'm now trying to edit a potamotrygon care and keeping guide in spanish, cause there is not even one book or magazine in spanish with good and reliable info. The whole text is based in years working with freshwater stingrays in public aquariums, keeping them at home, diving with them in their habitats, and of course reading all the books in the market and studies on the web. The breeders experience is also a good source of info.
The end of the line will be to offer our rays for sale, but first is more important to educate the hobbist.
Best regards
